STEVE MADDEN, the legend behind one of the world’s hottest  shoe and lifestyle brands will be holding a meet and greet at Macy’s at Lenox Square, in Atlanta, GA on Saturday, April 27 from 2:00PM- 3:30PM.

The afternoon event will be hosted by TV personality, Julissa Bermudez, of the Style Network’s hit-series Empire Girls.

Guests are invited to meet the footwear tycoon and pose for photos as he autographs complimentary branded tees and tote bags, all while a DJ spins the latest hits.

Visitors will also have the chance to win their very own pair of Steve Madden shoes*, and a special gift will be given to every customer with the purchase of any Steve Madden product on the day of the event. 

ATLANTA, Ga. -- A Fulton County Grand Jury indicted a former PTA president on theft charges on Friday afternoon.

Maryam Arjomand was charged with two counts of Forgery and three counts of Theft by Taking by Fiduciary.  Arjomand is accused of stealing funds from the E. Rivers Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and the E. Rivers Education Foundation.

Arjomand was charged with theft in April of 2012 following a review of the PTA's legitimate account which revealed, at least, $80,000.00 were funneled into an "unauthorized account" at a bank where Arjomand previously served as the Director of Sales and Marketing and Corporate Secretary.

Arjomand's trial date has not yet been set.
