On Tuesday night I was given the opportunity to attend the opening night performance of "Burn the Floor" at the Fox Theatre. People, this show is hot! There were plenty of dance styles throughout the show, but they were consistent in one thing - they were amazing. The dancers (many have been featured on So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars)all moved with such beauty and perfection that it really moves the audience. The vocals of Vonzell Solomon and Peter Saul were spot on and the perfect compliment to the show.

This is no ordinary "ballroom" dancing show. To be honest, I don't know how the dancers were still standing at the end of it because the dances were so fast-paced and they just kept going and going!

The center received its congratulatory letter for national accreditation on Friday, March 11, 2011. The 5th Annual Fine  Art + Fashion presentation hosted by Neiman Marcus was a beautifully major success!  The NBAF were delighted and honored to have Sandra Anderson Baccus chair Fine Art + Fashion this year, as well as honorary chairs Su and Al Longman, co-chairs Marjorie and Steve Harvey, Earnest Ingram and Charlene Crusoe Ingram, John and Vicki Palmer, and Bill Torres and Jack Sawyer. The fashion presentation was absolutely amazing and CD Greene's designs were simply stunning.
