“Life hasn’t been easy for me,” shares Johnson, “At the age of nine I lost my parents in a highly publicized murder-suicide. I know what it feels like to be invisible. Leading efforts to serve our homeless population is my way of saying, ‘I understand’; it’s a great honor and privilege to be part of such a community effort.”

Sometimes the pain, the struggle, and the lack of confidence can get in the way, and I hope to be able to lift up the spirits of my fellow man and woman.”
