Bazaar Noir Indie Series

I had the opportunity to attend this wonderful gathering of like minded individuals who all emphasized health and wellness through their skin and hair products, massaging techniques, teas, and vegan cuisine.  The air was filled with incense and love!  To top it all off, there was a live band that blessed us with jazz, rock, and soul fusion.

GHA combats cyber-bullying

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- The steady increase of cyber-bullying cases in schools has many parents on alert.

Now, Greenfield Hebrew Academy is working hard to make sure that parents stay informed of this dangerous trend.

GHA (5200 Northland Drive NE, Sandy Springs, 30342) is holding a cyber-bullying information session at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 15.

Officer Tim Burell of the Sandy Springs Police Department will moderate the discussion. Parents from all area schools are invited to attend.

Cyber-bullying is when a child or teenager is harassed, humiliated, embarrassed, threatened or tormented through digital technology, including email and social networking websites.

Despite the potential damage of this new form of bullying, it is alarmingly common among adolescents.
