Woman accused of stealing PTA money released on bond

ATLANTA -- Maryam Arjomand was released from the Fulton County Jail on a signature bond, late Tuesday night. 

The 48 year old is accused of stealing $57,000, over a three year period, from the E. Rivers Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association, of which she was a member. 

According to her attorney, she has paid back almost $50,000 of the money. She will appear in court on May 8.
