Atlanta Police looking for gas station robbers

ATLANTA – Atlanta Police are looking for two suspects they said robbed the Quik Trip store on Sidney Marcus Boulevard near Georgia 400 early Tuesday.

The store clerk told police that two black males arrived in the store at about 2:38 a.m., and left after "touching different candies" in the candy aisle of the store.

She told police that about five minutes later, the two returned to the store, and that one of them pointed a silver handgun at her, demanding she give them the contents of the cash drawer.

The clerk said she gave the suspect the drawer, which contained $80 in cash.

Police said a witness saw the suspects hop into a blue Acura and drive off westbound on Sidney Marcus Boulevard.

One suspect is described as a black male, about 5-foot-8, and weighing about 160 pounds, wearing a black shirt, dark pants and a red and black baseball cap. The second suspect is also a black male, about 5-feet-9, weighing about 170 pounds, and wearing a light brown coat, white shirt, dark pants and a dark baseball cap.

Investigators said the suspects were visible on surveillance video. They are asking that anyone with information to please contact Atlanta Police.
