APD releases sketch of Pharr Rd. carjacking suspect | News
ATLANTA -- Authorities have released a sketch of a suspect they think is responsible for a carjacking that happened in Buckhead on Friday.
According to authorities, the victims were sitting in a maroon colored Toyota Carolla near 300 Pharr Road when they were attacked. The driver of the vehicle had been dropping off a friend at their home.
A report says that the victims were approached by two black males and one was armed. The victims describe being forced from their car, at gunpoint, and having their cell phones and wallets stolen.
The victims described the suspects as black males, one "light-skinned" and the other "dark-skinned." The victim said the light-skinned man had dreadlocs and some of them were colored. There were no cameras near the incident.
The victims described seeing the suspects driving a gray hatchback vehicle and a black vehicle of some sort. According to the victims, the suspects sped off down Grandview in the stolen vehicle they then made a left on Buckhead Avenue toward Peachtree Road.
Officials with the Georgia State Patrol have spotted the car however the tag has since been removed.
