ATLANTA -- A local business is making Christmas merry for our military families.
Big John's Christmas Trees has been participating in the Trees for Troops" project since it was started in 2006.
Since then, Big John's has collected nearly 1,200 trees.
It's all part of an idea to give back to our military men and women who sacrifice so much for our country.
"At Christmastime, we get approached by a lot of folks and we help out as much as we can," said Jimbo Livaditis, the owner of Big John's Christmas Trees. "I think, especially our troops, again sometimes people don't think about them as much.
