Big Rich Atlanta's Sharlinda, Brie and Kahdijiha are more than just reality show stars

ATLANTA--Recently I had a chance to have a three on one conversation with a few of the ladies of Style Network's Big Rich Atlanta. I was curious to find out if the show exhibited the true nature of twin sisters Sharlinda and Brie and Sharlinda's daughter Kahdijiha. While taking a time to listen to what actually builds their character, obvious strength and family bond; I noticed that the ladies were simply women with a vision and had a strong love for their craft.

Sharlinda, a woman that has received backlash for being too strong, understands that in order to command respect you have to have order. As a business woman she has worked hard with her twin Brie to create an Atlanta based nail salon and even before the television fame their clientele included Jay-Z, Beyonce and Demi Moore. Their thriving salon, Tu La 2 Nail Salon, is their main focus and despite the show's success; daily they are working to improve their brand. From a jewelry launch (DUO) to a nail polish line, Sharlina and Brie are strategizing on the next level of entrepreneurship. The sisters do admit that working with your twin can be complicated at times, but they do understand the common goal and can separate their personal feelings for the betterment of the brand.

Sharlinda, wife of 112's Q Parker, knows her lane and doesn't tamper in something that isn't natural. She jokes about wanting to be a singer, but knows that she can't carry a tone; she leaves the music to her husband. Candidly she also spoke about being a teen when she had Kahdijiha, but knew at that moment of conception it was time to straightened up and be a successful mother that could provide. Her efforts at motherhood has obviously paid off because Kahdijiha, a broadcast major,  has taken after her mother and understands that being a self starter is important.

Kahdijiha's straight forward attitude was seen throughout the entire season of Big Rich Atlanta. She says that she was going to be herself on the show regardless and didn't want to adopt to a mode that certain cast mates had of being fake for the camera. If she said it, then I will say she meant it. Putting all the negative drama behind her, she is now launching an affordable online shoe store that caters to women that want that glamorous look for an affordable price. She makes it known the shoes aren't cheap and she want women to sport stylist shoes for a price that wont break your pockets. This young woman is no fool and has learned from her mother when people are with her for the fame or for the true sense of loyalty. Now she can spot a user a mile away, especially when it comes to dating. Both Kahdijiha and Brie agree that dating in Atlanta is hard. Especially when your personal life is exposed on national television. Knowing what you want and going after it has been the key to their single life experiences. Brie says that she is a work in progress when it comes to dating but feels that her business is the main focus right now and love will come.

Brie and Sharlinda are excited about their lines being released Spring 2013 to major boutiques across Atlanta and online, clients can also purchase their signature items at their salon: TU LA 2 NAIL SALON AND COMPANY, 375 Pharr Road, Suite 212, Atlanta, 30305.
