ATLANTA -- Popular Buckhead restaurant Aria has been named a winner of OpenTable Diners’ Choice Awards for the top 100 restaurants in the United States that specialize in American food.

The list of winners is derived from more than 5 million reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for more than 15,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

“We are very pleased by this acknowledgment from OpenTable diners,” said Andrés Loaiza, general manager. “We are proud to know that these diners thoroughly enjoyed their overall experience at Aria and gave us such high marks.  We also want to congratulate the other restaurants who made the list.”

“American fare is constantly evolving, making it one of the most exciting cuisines in the culinary landscape,” said Caroline Potter, OpenTable Chief Dining Officer. “The chefs at these winning restaurants are finding inspiration on local farms, in home kitchens, here and abroad, and in their own closely knit restaurant communities, serving up dishes that reflect both time and place in our national culture, and we congratulate their success.”

Based on feedback collected from OpenTable diners between November 2011 and October 2012, the 100 award-winning restaurants received the highest scores.  For more information about all of the restaurants on this list, please visit http://www.opentable.com/american.
